Mike Baker started his career as a loan officer in 1985 and quickly became one of the top performers in personal loan production. His business model for loan production expanded his career to management as he was instrumental in building dozens of mortgage branches in the Western United States. This success took Mike on the road, where he has conducted more than 800 workshops and seminars around the United States and Canada.


Mike is the author of several best-selling books and products which include Mortgage Business Builder™, Loan Officer Recruiting, Credit Smart, Mortgage Power, and 101 Ways to Originate Mortgage Loans.

 

He has written over 160 articles for national publications such as “Mortgage Originator Magazine, “Broker Magazine”, “The Mortgage Report,” “Broker/Banker Magazine,” “Lender Success Magazine,” and “Scotsman Guide”.


Formerly the CEO of The Mortgage Coach, Mike is now sales manager for Resource Lenders in Fresno, California.
